Recent work – Summer/Autumn 2017

I have just completed a series of acrylics reflecting on one of my favourite pieces of music, Britten’s Sea Interludes, from the Opera Peter Grimes. It continues the strand of work I’ve been pursuing over the last year, with earlier pieces responding to an eclectic range of music taking in jazz, Bowie, and a range of chamber music.

The work below derives largely from recent trips to Mull and Staffa and the Lake District, continuing my inquiries into landscape and abstraction.
